The new £72 million health hub in the Parkhead area of Glasgow is to be Scotland’s first net zero carbon healthcare facility and was built by main contractors BAM construction. Firespec undertook intumescent inspections and verification of both offsite and onsite coatings with associated consultancy. The Parkhead site is ~11,200sqm and will combine a number of health and care services previously spread out across Glasgow.
