Firespec were engaged on a further 15,000m2 Grade A office project in the New bailey development at New Bailey, Salford. The scheme is a joint venture between Muse Developments, Legal & General and Homes England and has recently been confirmed as the new regional home of the HMRC. Firespec were consulted on the passive and reactive systems within the building as well as carrying out thorough inspections of around 22,000m2 of intumescent coatings and of the fire stopping during the construction phase.
